Preview of week's chapters: In the final chapters of our adventure with Celeste, an old enemy returns for a short time and her friend Joseph sadly moves on, but Celeste is able to contemplate what she has learned about home and friendship as she welcomes a new friend into her safe and cozy attic nest. In the Afterword, the author provides a good explanation of Audubon's real travels with Joseph, his legacy and his deficits. (use the Afterword link for a video interpretation of it)

Preview of week's chapters: Celeste is back in the house and again must escape the cat. But this time she discovers a possible new home which may be both safe and perfect for her. Then when Lafayette is captured by Audubon, who is hoping to paint him, Celeste again finds a way to help a friend.
