With Kindergarten classes, we read Nana in the City, by Lauren Castillo, about a boy who fears the busy loud city where his Nana has moved until his Nana gives him a red cape to make him brave. Now the city is not so scary, in fact, in a brave cape, the city is wonderful! We tried it! Here are the brave things our students can do wearing their brave red cape!
