January is a mysterious month for third graders at Patton. In LMC we discussed the elements of the the mystery genre and "mystery vocabulary" such as alibi, witness, suspects, red herring and sleuth. Next week students will act as detectives, reading short mystery stories in groups, recording clues, suspects, and try to solve the puzzle.
