During the week of December 8 - 12, Patton LMC became a coder's paradise! Along with 70 million students across the World, our students from K-5 all worked on coding activities using the Code.org website. Our student activities ranged from very beginning coding for kindergarten and other students who had never coded before, to coding for students who are veterans of Patton's Code Club. Students were engaged and amazed at their power and we hope will continue to add to what they learned all year long. Take a look:
My Reading List!
I am the Library Media Center director at Patton School in Arlington Heights where I help students from kindergarten through 5th grade find terrific independent reading for enjoyment and information, and teach students the skills to use information and technology safely and productively and to connect, communicate and share with others. I have four grown children, a large black dog, (flat coat retriever) and a small striped cat. I am an obessive Chicago Cubs fan and I love to run.
