Our impressive second grade classes, Mrs. McLoone, Ms. Wegley and Mrs. Sobanski's students won the Nonfiction November contest! They did it by sending in over 250 awesome, interesting, amazing and fascinating facts! They narrowly beat 5th grade (who has four classes) with 3rd grade (also four classes) a close 3rd place. We are so proud of our second graders who closely and carefully read many many nonfiction books and learned so much new information! These classes earned: an extra checkout during December, free time in the lab or on iPads during one LMC class, the right to scan their own books in December and free time in the lab during one indoor recess day this year! |
