In celebration of Earth Day, Patton School had a special outing to view the Disney nature movie, Bears, at the Randhurst Theaters. Students from Kindergarten to fifth grade were enthralled by the story of Sky and her two cubs in the first year of their journey from birth to their first winter hibernation. Following the movie, each grade examined one aspect of what they learned about the bears; their experience with their habitat, their predators, their diet, or their interaction with their own community. Each class created a poster outlining their learning which were posted all around the school, creating our very own "bear hunt".
