During our long cold winter, Kindergarten students have been reading about how animals survive the cold, snow and ice. Using PebbleGo, we first practiced listening carefully, at least twice and then discussing what they learned as a class. Then each student chose one animal in the polar region and on their own, listened carefully, at least two times, thought about what they were hearing and then wrote or drew one or two facts on a simple graphic organizer. Finally, they shared their fact about how the animal survives the winter in Chatterpix.
